About
I am a visual artist, researcher, mentor and Higher Education lecturer with over 20 years experience of working in the arts and culture. I explore topics of value, labour, the workplace and wellbeing at work through self-initiated collaborations and by working to commission. I completed a Clore Fellowship in 2018. In 2019 I published Artists Practising Well, followed by Practising Well: Conversations & Support Menu in 2022. In 2024 I started my PhD studies at the University of Manchester funded by The Arts and Humanities Research Council through the North-West Consortium Doctoral Training Partnership (NWCDTP). In September 2025 I was was awareded a NWCDTP Equality Diversity and Inclusion Fellowship to explore the PhD experinces of parents, carers and those taking the part-time route.
